The beauty of Tuscany, and the perfect party to race ratio, combine to create possibly the most unmissable cycle event of 2024!
In short, Grinduro Italy is just what the name suggests: gravel road race + mountain bike-style enduro = one long loop of pavement and dirt, where finishing times aren’t based on overall loop time, but four timed segments (each roughly five-to-ten minutes).
But Grinduro is not just a bike race. It’s a weekend long celebration of gravel cycling with as much emphasis on the fun as the ride, with excellent food, an impressive display of art, an incredible bike expo, live music, camping, and a festival atmosphere.

Tuscany, known for decades the perfect destination for those who love bikes no matter the terrain, has about 100 km of rugged mountain trails, dense and lush forests, rocky peaks, Roman remains and an endless network of singletrack and gravel roads.
This stretch of Tuscany's Maremma features all sorts of routes, from the most demanding and technical to those that are just as fast and smooth; making for the perfect location to host Grinduro Italy.

Grinduro Italy includes some of, if not the best riding within the region. The 100km course includes challenging hill climbs, fast gravel roads and twisting singletrack sections. The course is a challenge but it rewards you back with great riding and stunning views of this special region of France.
Grinduro Italy features four timed stages throughout the day for you to race for victory. These demand everything from the participants and the faster overall will achieve podium glory!

Race service Grinduro 100km: number plate, timekeeping, signposting, results etc.
(Grindurito 50km half distance, not timed, but all the fun of the weekend!)
Feed service on the course
1 campsite for a tent on the venue (Friday to Sunday)
Meals included on Saturday
Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Camping is included with your entry and is located within close proximity to the main Grinduro Italy arena in the Grinduro.
You will have a choice to camp in the Party Area (close to the stage and entertainment) with electricity, the Quiet/Family Camping area with electricity or the Back to Basic Area (beautifully scenery next to a brook, without electricity but there are power stations available in the main arena).
There is also an option to upgrade to a Camper Spot (also for vans, motorhomes, caravans).
You will have a choice to camp in the Party Area (close to the stage and entertainment) with electricity, the Quiet/Family Camping area with electricity or the Back to Basic Area (beautifully scenery next to a brook, without electricity but there are power stations available in the main arena).
There is also an option to upgrade to a Camper Spot (also for vans, motorhomes, caravans).

Life is about more than riding a bike. Grinduro Italy features a great music festival with live music and DJ's. So prepare for a good party with craft beer, marshmallows at the campfire and hearty food!

We love good food. Therefore, we have planned a fantastic offer for the weekend. Riders and their companions will be welcomed to Grinduro on Friday with an inclusive dinner. You will also get breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, plus, breakfast on Sunday morning!

RECOMMENDED GEAR
You can ride any type of bicycle (no ebikes!), although we recommend a gravel bike or hardtail MTB. The ultimate setup is probably a gravel bike with fast-rolling 40c tubeless tires and a 1x11-speed crank set... We prefer Shimano GRX. Be prepared with at least two extra tubes, a multi-tool and mini-pump.
There will be feed zones, but smart riders will be self sufficient and bring at least two water bottles and their favourite nutritional supplies. And don’t take to the start line without a helmet on!

There will be lots of fun volunteer opportunities available, including course marshals, beer pourers, packet pickup assistance, aid station support, podium helpers, dance party starters, and much, much more. Grinduro wouldn’t happen without the help of all you amazing volunteers out there, so THANKS!
