Grinduro returns to Sullivan County for more stellar riding and party vibes in 2024! Registration opens on December 1st.
The unique format of Grinduro comes to the Endless Mountain region of Pennsylvania! Join us for a weekend of good times as we rattle along pioneer roads through historic logging towns, covered bridges, scenic vistas and take gravel trails deep into the forests along a route that combines the best elements of a mountain bike enduro with a gravel grinder-style road race. Festivities include an impressive display of art and music, excellent food, great people and camping!

Grinduro PA is organized by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League, and proceeds from the event go directly back to PAMTB to support their important work.

Known as the "Gem of the Endless Mountains," Sullivan County is a unique area with beautiful state parks, (Ricketts Glen and Worlds End), breathtaking waterfalls, scenic vistas, small villages, natural lakes and a rich heritage that draws people to its region.
Whether graced by spring pastels, summer greens, autumn hues or newly fallen winter snow, Sullivan County's mountains are profoundly beautiful. You’ll probably want to avoid the Hellbenders in the creek and Sasquach and the Stinging Nettles in the forest, but choose your own adventure!

Course
As you leave the campground, you leave regular life behind. This is by far, the lowest population density of anywhere in PA and possibly across the whole east coast so you're more likely to see black bear and whitetail deer than people out here. Anticipation builds as jagged peaks of the Endless Mountains come into view.
Grinduro! Features almost 70 miles of mountain trails, woodland, soaring peaks and trails aplenty with four timed race stages.

Timed Stages
Grinduro features four timed enduro-style stages to race for victory. These demand everything from the participants and the faster overall will achieve podium glory!
The rest of the Grinduro course is untimed, meaning you can ride as fast or as relaxed as you choose... Or just go hard all day!
Stage 1 - Down Hill Singletrack - 1.3 miles, -500ft

Camping
Camping
Camping is included with your entry and is located within close proximity to the main arena in the Grinduro.
You will have a choice to camp in the Party Area (close to the stage and entertainment) with electricity, the Quiet/Family Camping area with electricity or the Back to Basic Area (beautifully scenery next to a brook, without electricity but there are power stations available in the main arena).
There is also an option to upgrade to a Camper Spot (also for vans, motorhomes, caravans).

Life is about more than riding a bike. Grinduro Pennsylvania features a great music festival with live music and DJ's. So prepare for a good party with craft beer, marshmallows at the campfire and hearty food!

Excellent Food
We believe that a bike riders’ health, attitude and performance is directly related to the foods that they eat before, during and after their ride, so we have amazing food planned for the weekend. Saturday’s breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included with race entry. We will also have various vendors on site selling food on Friday as you arrive and Sunday while you recover and relive your Grinduro experience. The vendors will also be available to help fuel your friends and family while you’re out on your ride.

RECOMMENDED GEAR
You can ride any type of bicycle (no ebikes!), although we recommend a gravel bike or hardtail MTB. The ultimate setup is probably a gravel bike with fast-rolling 40c tubeless tires and a 1x11-speed crank set... We prefer Shimano GRX. Be prepared with at least two extra tubes, a multi-tool and mini-pump.
There will be feed zones, but smart riders will be self sufficient and bring at least two water bottles and their favourite nutritional supplies. And don’t take to the start line without a helmet on!

There will be lots of fun volunteer opportunities available, including course marshals, packet pickup assistance, aid station support, podium helpers, and much, much more. Grinduro wouldn’t happen without the help of all you amazing volunteers out there, so THANKS!
