Grinduro features four timed stages throughout the day for you to race for victory. These demand everything from you as a participant and the fastest overall will achieve podium glory! The rest of the loop is untimed, meaning you can ride as fast or as relaxed as you choose...
Hang out with your friends, relax at our feed stations, chill at the surprise stop. Or just go hard all day!
The 100 km (approximately) signposted course includes huge forests, epic valleys, timed stages and killer viewpoints with, clear views all the way to the Alps. Where Grinduro goes down, on the eastern side, it's all rugged and wild with tons of canyons, while the western side is all about those chill rolling slopes.
Do you prefer less kilometers of gravel grinding? Pick the Grindurito! It’s not quite as challenging, but still a healthy bite of the Grinduro experience. You’ll ride the first loop of the Grinduro course, which is a pleasant signposted 50 km (approximately). The Grindurito ride is not timed, and while it doesn’t include an official awards ceremony, your prize is knowing you had one heck of a fun ride!

Life is about more than riding a bike. Grinduro France features a great music festival with live music and smashing DJs. So prepare for a good party with craft beer, marshmallows at the campfire and hearty food!
The Grinduro Event schedule will be announced prior to event.
We love good food. On Friday you start the weekend with lovely food at one of the food trucks (not included in entry fee) or a pizza in downtown Xonrupt-Longemer.
On Saturday you will be pampered with breakfast, lunch and dinner (three courses).
On Sunday you will end the weekend with a continental breakfast. Vegetarian and vegan options will of course be available.
During the weekend we have a wide range of cold beers, wines and spirits!
You can ride any type of pedal-driven bike (no electric-pedal assist!), although we recommend a gravel bike or hardtail MTB.
The ultimate setup is a disc brake-equipped gravel bike with fast-rolling 40c or wider, tubeless tires and a 1x12-speed crank set. Be prepared with at least two extra tubes, a multi-tool and mini-pump.
There will be feed zones, but smart riders will be self sufficient and bring at least two water bottles and their favourite nutritional supplies. And don’t take to the start line without a helmet on!
Make sure you bring layers — ideally arm/leg warmers and a jacket.
There will be lots of fun volunteer opportunities available, including course marshals, packet pickup assistance, aid station support, and much, much more. Grinduro wouldn’t happen without the help of all you amazing volunteers out there! You will help us out on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
