Gravel cycling is celebrated over three days on several gravel tours within the heart of Switzerland. The races are held in enduro format, a maximum of four sections are ridden in race mode, the rest of the tour can be enjoyed without time pressure. The stages are usually between 10 and 15 minutes long and can have all kinds of characteristics: Uphill or downhill, on asphalt, gravel or even single trail.
Grinduro Switzerland is brought to you by Giro Sport Design, SRAM, ZIPP, Maxxis and komoot.
*The results combine FQSC associated and non associated riders
The charming Aegeri Valley is located in the heart of Central Switzerland in the canton of Zug. Around Lake Aegeri, the green hills offer a perfect terrain for endless gravel rides with spectacular views of the Swiss Alps.
The lido in Unterägeri will serve as the Grinduro Village this weekend. The exclusive use of the area directly on the lakeshore and the associated infrastructures offer participants an unforgettable experience and the best possible comfort.

Gravel sport will be celebrated over three days on several gravel rides in the heart of central Switzerland. The races are held in enduro format, which means that during the main race on Saturday, a maximum of four sections are ridden against the clock, while the rest of the ride can be enjoyed without time pressure. The so-called "stages" are usually between 10 and 15 minutes long and can have all kinds of characteristics: Uphill or downhill, on asphalt, gravel or even single trail.
On Friday afternoon, the Fun Prologue will take place as a warm-up. A short, challenging round with one stage on asphalt, gravel and trail. The ranking of the Fun Prologue has no influence on the Grinduro ranking on Saturday.
The Grinduro round stretches over about 80km and 2,000m. There are four stages to race for the day's victory. These demand everything from the participants.
If you don't dare to do the big round yet, but still want to experience the full Grinduro feeling, you can sign up for the Grindurito. In addition to a shortened route, there is also no timekeeping.
Those who still have enough energy in their legs after the party on Saturday evening can enjoy the panoramic ride on Sunday, led by the komoot team.
Besides the race, the event experience, the party and of course the excellent food are also some of the highlights.
On Friday and Saturday nights we celebrate life with good music and refreshing drinks.

Be cool, have fun and enjoy the ride. Those are the rules!
For those of you who need things spelled-out, here you have it…
THE BEST BIKE:You can ride any type of pedal-driven bicycle (no electric-pedal assist!), although we recommend a cyclocross or gravel bike for the Grinduro and Grindurito course. The ultimate setup is probably a disc brake-equipped gravel bike with fast-rolling, tubeless clincher tires and a 2x11-speed crank set. Be prepared with at least two extra tubes, a multi-tool and mini-pump.
The venue is at 726m altitude, in October it can be cold especially at night. Make sure you bring layers — ideally arm/leg warmers and a jacket as well as a warm sleeping bag.
There will be feed zones (and an excellent lunch!), but smart riders will bring at least two water bottles and their favourite nutritional supplies.
And don’t take the start line without a helmet on!
We love good food. Therefore, we have planned a fantastic offer for the weekend. Breakfast (Sat/Sun), lunch and dinner on race day are included. For the rest of the weekend, food vendors will take care of your culinary needs.
The event campsite is located right next to the Grinduro Village. The campsite is included in the Rider Package and is limited to 1 tent.
Do you have a camper van or motorhome? No problem - we have a dedicated camping area for camper vans including electricity. Make sure you select the appropriate "Camper Pitch" upgrade when you register.
Hotel packages at selected Grinduro partner hotels will be listed here soon.
Note: Wild camping outside the designated areas is not allowed and will be fined.
Will friends and family come along? Any kind of company is very welcome. Make sure your companions have the appropriate tickets. All persons attending need to be registered. Companion tickets are CHF 100.00 for adults and CHF 45.00 for youth. Children are free of charge. The package can be booked during the online registration and includes the following services: Access to the Grinduro Village, camping as well as showers and other services on site, live concerts and parties in the Grinduro Village, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunch and dinner on Saturday, parking and visitor's tax.
In addition to fame and glory each winner will take home a little something special. Best of luck!
If not for the generosity and efforts of our sponsors, there would be no such thing as Grinduro. Thank you to Giro Sport Design, Maxxis, SRAM, Zipp and komoot.
