Grinduro Gazette, February Edition

Publish Date: 9th February 2021

If the rapid sellout of Grinduro Wales entries is anything to go by, gravel fans are super desperate to party and so are we!

In 2021 Grinduro is once again bringing the perfect party to race ratio to both new and existing audiences worldwide. We will be hosting six amazing locations, with everything you love about Grinduro to three new countries this year - Switzerland, Wales (UK) and Australia. We haven't forgotten old friends though, so we'll be heading back to Japan, Canada and the California too.

Ticket sales for some events have already started... tickets are available for Canada and entry for the other events starts from early April.

Since the first Grinduro in California back in 2015, hand-built bikes have been a key feature. Not only as a part of the pop-up store, but as a riders choice of bike out on course. Hand-built, custom bikes celebrate the individuality and diversity we cherish at Grinduro.

For 2021 we aim to continue to celebrate the diversity of hand-built bikes at all six rounds of the Grinduro global series in collaboration with undoubtedly one of the icons of cycling, Columbus.

The Grinduro Bike and Art Show

We are looking for five hand-built frame builders for each round of the Grinduro 2021 series to exhibit in our bike show. In exchange, you'll be offered an outstanding deal on tubing and components through Grinduro sponsors in order to create your vision of the Ultimate Grinduro bike.

Got the skills and the passion? Get in touch at with examples of your work, website and why you want to enter the Grinduro Build-Off.

Our friends at SRAM recently shared this wonderful tale of all-road adventures in Delaware County. Food, friends and bike riding... a story with Grinduro spirit!

...up steep grades and bumping down long descents, the sound of tiny rocks flying underfoot. This looked and sounded like cycling HEAVEN.

Check out the story here.

Every month, we want to share with you a tune that sets the mood for maxin' & relaxin'. And what better way to kick off the series than 'Start Wearing Purple' by Gogol Bordello.

To keep your gravel stoke high, we've put together a Spotify playlist of some of our favourite Grinduro inspired tunes. Check it out here.

That's all for this month. Stay safe and happy trails!
